BioI am extraordinarily blessed and the more time I spend with other people the more I appreciate what I have. I tend to think too much and can be insecure, but at the same time I think I have a healthy appreciation for my strong points. Come talk to me if you want, I like strangers!
I am currently part of Teach for America (www.teachforamerica.org), an organization that trains people from all academic backgrounds to go teach in low-income schools across the country. I am (or will be in August) a second-grade bilingual teacher in Oakland, California.
I attended Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island, and I concentrated in Development Studies. I truly want to leave the world better than I found it, cliché as that sounds.
Pianists and musicians in general and writers and readers and people who can sit quietly and not talk and not be anxious about it are amazing to me. I will one day marry an activist or a polyglot.
